Communication, Talkative, Curious
On November 23rd there’ll be a Full Moon in Gemini, but before look what the Gemini Full Moon means let’s look a little closer at the Moon and what it represents in astrology.
The Moon in Astrology
The Moon represents our inner world: our emotions, mood, feelings of inner security, sensitivity, the unconscious and intuition. In astrology the Moon is one of the most important planets as she is also mother, home, family, feelings and habits and how we instinctually react to life.
In your natal chart (the time of your birth) the Moons location tells you your emotional tendencies while the Moon’s current location as its moving across sky impacts on our feelings and behaviour in the present. She speaks to us through our feelings.
About the Sign of Gemini
Gemini can never have enough information. Gathering information and facts wherever it can in reading, listening, talking or writing, Gemini has an insatiable appetite for knowledge. It is the most talkative sign of the zodiac, full of facts on a variety of topics and a lightning fast sharp wit, it loves to flirt while being great conversationalists.
Because Gemini wants to gather as much information as it can, it can get so much it can get lost in it all and find it hard to make up their minds.
Gemini is fun to be around, bouncing around from one topic to another, others can find it a challenge to keep up as they can sometimes speak so incredibly fast their words roll into each other, and they don’t finish their sentence before they go off on another thought.
Gemini is easily distracted, not good listeners and find it hard to finish what they started. Gemini has an intense curiosity and will ask many questions, this can come off sometimes as being nosey, but it is because they are curious and interested and want to know all.
One of Gemini traits is contrariness, going opposite to what is said as they can see both sides. This can be challenging to be around, they will find the weakness in the information and sometimes it will seem they will just do it out of habit.
One of the great abilities Gemini has is to take a lot of information and organise words in an orderly fashion. Gemini has incredible problem-solving abilities, if one way doesn’t work, they will have plenty of ideas of how to tackle a problem and can adapt to any situation.
The most challenging thing for Gemini to do is relax the mind, focusing your mind, deep breathing and yoga help greatly with slowing down all of Gemini’s rapid thinking.

Full Moon in Gemini
No matter where our Sun or Moon is in our Natal Chart (Birth Chart), we are all effected by the Full Moon in Gemini. While Gemini is connected with anything associated with education, intelligence, learning, education and socialising, the Gemini Full Moon will make it easier to meet new people to share ideas, have some fun and catch up with family and friends.
Be prepared for lots of mental stimulation as you may experience many ideas all coming to you at the same time and find it difficult to choose the direction you want to go in. Your mind may take off with having so many ideas you may feel torn between different directions. Take advantage of the Gemini Full Moon by looking at things from different angles.
Your emotional state may be changeable going up one minute and down the next – try to stay flexible in the moment. Because Gemini rules our thoughts, many Geminis are very quick witted and funny, so this will be a great time to share funny stories, jokes, songs, write some poetry, look at problems along with their solutions and ideas.
If you do have a problem, write it down to get it out of your head. See if you can just write what comes into your mind and see if you can also come up with solutions.
At this time the Gemini Full Moon faces the Sun in Sagittarius its opposite sign, while Sagittarius loves a big idea or project, the Gemini Full Moon makes it a good time to put its energy into the project. This also includes going through a personal transformation or doing something about that idea you’ve had for a while.

How the Full Moon in Gemini Coincides with Your Cycle
Day 4 – 6: You’ll be feeling chattier and you may feel like you are coming out of your shell. You could be involved in heated debates or gab sessions with your girlfriends. The biology of what is happening in your body at this time is complex due to a form of Oestrogen called Oestradiol. You may be having special feelings of adventure, optimism, excitement and have a super sharp wit which all enhance the energy of Gemini New Moon.
Day 9: Your brain has turned into a rapid firing machine. Be aware of the internal relentless chatter, analysing and over analysing of conversations and events. Try to structure your brilliant hyper-active analysing mind by writing down your thoughts in a journal. Once you’ve written down all the factors and formed your perspective, it’ll be easier to put the issue at rest in your own mind.
Be aware that the feel-good hormone oestrogen is crashing as you are at that point in your cycle just after ovulation; some women have described this as being worse than PMS.
Day 23 -24: Hormones will be dropping off kicking off PMS. Be mindful of the power of your words.
As always, it is recommended you take time to do meditation, look at your nutrition and what you are putting into your body and how it’s making you feel.
You can find nutritious recipes and meditation to support you through your cycle, while Astrology will help find the meaning behind the Full Moon in Gemini to harness its energies.
